Sean's Softball Game

So Sean is on a softball League that has a double header every Friday night. Last Friday I went with the girls since it was an early game. Megan is still debating on cutting her hair yet did let me make pony tails in her hair and she does look cute!! Now that the recital is done she wants to cut it short.

Dance Recital

Friday night was the dance recital. We are so very proud of Megan! She danced so nicely!! The night was not bad at all, and it went very fast for me being back stage with 10 3 year olds! When it was over she got flowers and was so happy!!

Dance Rehearsals

Well Saturday was Megan's last day at dance and yesterday the fun begun- We had Dance rehearsal and I signed up to be a stage mom (last time I will ever volunteer) and I have never been more exhausted. Between trying to keep 10 3 year olds quiet plus the mothers complaining I need to suggest that they need to serve alcohol at those kinds of events- hehe just kidding- Well today we had dress rehearsal at 4:30 and we did not get home until almost 9 and again but this time it included little tired whining 3 year old I have to say Megan has been going to bed at 9 so she was not tired yet some of the other little girls go to bed by 7:30 so it got the point when we were lining up for the finale they were crying that they were tired and i had to carry them to the stage and bribe them- Then when i got back and all the little ones were settled in with their moms- 2 mothers approached me and complained - 1 about her daughter being blocked and that they were not able to see her and the other that i did not Tye their tap shoes nicely into a perfect bow- well after when everyone was changing I made an announcement to all of the mothers that I will do the best that I can to make sure that the girls look good yet they have to remember that they are only 3 and there is only so much that you can do so it is a wonder why i heard that you are only a stage mom once!!

This past weekend we went to NY to celebrate Melissa's 1st Birthday with our family and friends from NY. It was a very nice party at my moms house and Melissa received a ton of clothes which I am grateful for!! Sunday morning we headed off to CT to celebrate the Baptism of my friend Geraldine & Stephen's twin boys. The Church was amazing looking and then after they had a great reception at a country club. We left CT around 6pm and headed home, we had to go pick up Charlie at our friends house and by the time we got home it was 11:15 and needless to say we were all very tired. I had off on Monday and Sean took off but I had allot of running around to do including a 12 month physical for Melissa, I had to make a cake for a birthday party that we were having for Cassidy at Sean's Aunt's house but Cassidy loved her little party!! her Birthday was on Sat. yet since we went away we did not get to celebrate it with her so that is why we all decided to have the little get together. Melissa is really on the move now taking more steps on her own. My mom suggested to keep her walking shoes on during the day even if we are home since that helps support her little ankles and will help her balance so yesterday I dressed her and put her shoes on and did see the difference. Sean joined a softball league and he has his first game on Friday night and he is very excited about playing. I am looking forward to go watch his games once the weather warms up. Next Monday I will be going to Woodside Elementary to register Megan for Pre-K crazy at it seems hopefully she will get in and be going to "big girl school" as she calls it!! She is very excited about going on a yellow school bus!! Here are some pics of the parties. Talk to you soon!!

Megan Dance Pictures

So today we had to take Megan for her Dance Pictures. She LOVED wearing makeup and was so excited about me talking about the mousse that when I gave her a bath she was wondering were her dessert was not realizing that it was hair mousse- hehe pretty funny- Well of course it HAD to rain today yet we managed to make it to the dance place without her hair coming out of the style that I did. We are off to NY for Melissa's second first birthday party in NY so until we get back bye!!

The Girls

So I finally got to transfer my old pictures onto our new computer and was looking through when Megan was born and being that the girls have such different looks it was nice to see when they were pudgy little newborns. People say that Megan looks like me with Sean's coloring and that Melissa looks like Sean with my coloring so I have a few pics that we would like you to try to guess who is who.

Melissa 1st Birthday party in MD

This was a cake that we got from a bakery in Baltimore it was the most delicious cake that we have ever had. Everything on top of the cake was edible. we also had a cupcake cake yet did not get a chance to take a picture of it. And of course Melissa had her own cake to eat all on her own and she loved every minute of it! This past Sat we had a party for Melissa in MD and this coming Sat we will be having another party in NY. The weather was nice so the kids played outside. I can't believe my baby is 1 already!! This year flew by. Yesterday we went to The Mall at Columbia to have the girls pictures taken at JC Penny and OMG I could not decide which ones to choose because they ALL came out great!! Those pictures will follow. We could not get Melissa to hold up her little finger to say that she was ONE but of course she did it as soon as we left the studio. Well I do have a busy week ahead since we are leaving on Friday for NY. We picked up Megan's dance outfit for her recital this month and it is soooo cute! She will be going to have her pictures taken on Thursday with her tap and ballet class. I will take some pics on Thursday of her for you to see.

This year Easter was very relaxing so it was nice. We had Sean's Aunt Mary and Grandmother come over for dinner and I cooked a ham that came out very good we dressed casual yet I did take out my good china and decorated the table very nice.
