Well I can finally say that I have been to Ocean City MD. We were scheduled to leave on Monday the 9th yet due to a storm and us losing power on the 7th we decided to leave a day early. On the 7th was my 5 year anniversary and Sean's Aunt Mary and Grandma came to watch the girls so that we could go out to dinner. We did get a call the baby Kyla decided to come into the world 2 weeks early so we said that we would go to visit them at the hospital then head out to Sushi Sono for dinner. We left the girls around 6 and went to the hospital to visit the Peakes and boy was that baby too cute perfectly round little head and a bunch of happy grandparents (first grandchild). After we headed out to the restaurant which we picked Sushi since we really can't go to places like that with the girls due to the fact that they are a little tight- The restaurant in right on the water in Columbia is was yummy and very nice. We got home around 9:15 to find all of our lights out and everyone sitting in the dark in the living room. Aunt Mary did not know where our flash lights were and she did not want to call us to make us have to worry and come home early. Melissa was already in bed and Megan was a little scared yet Aunt Mary kept her calm. Well once we got home I lit candles and put all of the flashlights on and until we went to bed. The next day around 6 I called BGE and the estimated time of repair was 10:30pm so I opened our blinds and got out my Ocean City Book and started calling hotels to leave a day early. The Hilton was booked to we booked a night at a Days Inn not too far from where we would be staying. I packed up a separate bag just for the night so that we did not have to unload all of our bags, waited until Noah's Ark opened to see if they could take Charlie a day early which they did and we packed up and left. We went to breakfast on the Eastern Shore and then arrived at the Ocean just in time for lunch. We arrived at the Days Inn and our room was ready so they let us check in and off to the beach. The girls just loved it!! The water was too cold to go in but Sean did go in. After we went to the pool at the hotel and that water was also cold which Melissa screamed about so I just sat out with her yet Megan loved it. We went back to our room all bathed and off to the boardwalk. Being the it is Senior Week there were alot of teens yet not to crowded at all. We walked all the way to the amusement and the girls went on some of the rides and we headed back and went to bed. The next morning off to the Hilton. Boy what a difference it was such a beautiful hotel plus the outdoor pool was heated which little Miss Melissa was LOVING!! Our suite was great they put us on the 10th floor so we had a great view it was really nice. We found out that the Air Show was going to be happening and boy did we hear it- They flew everyday and our room shook and they were so very loud but nice to see. I was surprised that it did not scare the girls yet they really enjoyed watching them from the balcony. We did have one little episode that Melissa threw a empty water bottle off the balcony and I looked down and luckily it landed in a hot tub in one of the rooms below yet there was nobody there so we really made sure that there was noting that she could get her hand on. We could not have asked for better weather, it stormed one night while we were in bed but besides that it was a great relaxing vacation.
